Attendees will learn about the critical components of data governance, including data stewardship, quality management, and compliance. The session will also address the challenges of implementing data governance across multiple departments and how to overcome them. Objectives: Understand the key components of a data governance framework, review the roles and responsibilities in data stewardship, and learn strategies for overcoming challenges in data governance implementation. Speaker Bio: Joe is a technology executive with 25 years of experience in data and analytics, data governance, data privacy, AI/ML, digital transformation, software development, and application integration. Joe has managed global consulting services in the US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Serbia, Saudia Arabia and India. Currently, Joe is the Founder and CEO of Boundree, a consultancy focusing on AI and data strategy, AI and data governance, and data privacy, assisting customers with improved risk management, increased data literacy, and ethical innovation. Joe has served on many technology advisory boards and has carried many technical and operational certifications including IAPP CIPP/US designation. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, sports, spending time outdoors, and playing golf very poorly.
