Artificial Intelligence (AI)

The NYS AI Forum Steering Committee is established to oversee the planning and development of monthly AI working groups for NYS Forum members, with the goal of enhancing the understanding, application, and use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies. The Committee is tasked with identifying relevant topics, selecting speakers, deciding the number of speakers and crafting engaging session names and descriptions. The Committee will ensure that these sessions are comprehensive, covering both beginner and advanced AI concepts, and tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities faced by NYS Forum members.

The AI sessions will aim to:

  • Educate forum members on AI fundamentals and advanced applications.
  • Promote ethical AI practices.
  • Enhance data literacy and security awareness as they pertain to AI systems.
  • Provide practical tools and strategies for integrating AI into state government operations.
