Kambiz Mofrad, CISO at SVAM International Inc.

Kambiz Mofrad (Kami) is a highly successful senior executive and subject matter expert in Cybersecurity, Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Privacy, with many years of leadership and implementation experience. He focuses on resolving complex enterprise and regulatory issues. Kami holds a dual role at SVAM International, serving as Chief Information Security Officer and Chief Cyber Security Architect, helping numerous government agencies and private companies address complex cybersecurity issues.

Having served at Citigroup in various risk management and technology leadership roles for nearly three decades, Kami boasts an exceptional track record of surpassing corporate goals and objectives. Throughout these years, he demonstrated solid, comprehensive, and global capabilities in technical development, information security, supplier risk, operational management, data management, and best-in-class technology solutions for institutional and global accounts.

During his tenure at Citi, Kami leveraged his extensive technology and risk management knowledge to design and implement practical solutions fully aligned with internal and external regulatory policies. This included the development of new information security tools and methodologies to meet regulatory commitments, creating an aggregated view of risk profiles, and mapping the risks and issues to existing information security initiatives. He architected and implemented Global Citi Third Party Continuous Monitoring and Third-Party Cyber Health Check programs, monitoring 2.4K+ third parties in near-real time, meeting regulatory commitments, and significantly reducing Third-Party IS Risks for the organization. Additionally, he designed and implemented a state-of-the-art client-less secure email solution utilized by thousands of users, achieving significant $100MM savings, and earning him the ISE 2009 Project of the Year award.

Kambiz has deep expertise in the areas of cybersecurity, application development, IT infrastructure management, Fraud, IT financial management, and business continuity. He has also implemented multiple regulatory mandate solutions and has a great understanding of compliance related to enforcement actions and industry-recognized standards, including ISO 27001, HIPAA, FFIEC, NIST, SOC 2, and GDPR.

Kambiz spent the early part of his career working for AT&T Bell Laboratories as a member of the technical staff, designing and implementing complex applications and infrastructure and IT security solutions. His clients included FAA, American Express, American Airlines, New York Life, Mead Data Central, and multiple government agencies."

Kiran Bhujle, Cybersecurity Practice Leader, SVAM International Inc.

Kiran oversees SVAM’s Security Advisory Group, encompassing various areas such as cybersecurity consulting, proactive risk management, digital identity, cyber defense, response and remediation services, and managed security services catering to all industries. With over 25 years of experience, he is a senior technology risk executive who has helped numerous organizations manage their technology risks and transformation programs. His extensive knowledge spans information security, ERP application security, identity, access management, and IT and business transformation. Additionally, he has successfully implemented compliance programs in adherence to enforcement actions and industry-recognized standards such as SOX, COBIT, HIPAA, FFIEC, NIST, and ISO 27001.

Previously, At CohnReznick, he oversaw the Cybersecurity, Technology Risk, and Privacy practice initiatives. He was crucial in assisting global organizations with their technology risk programs, access management, and compliance projects. Before that, he served as the Access Management and Security service leader at EY Risk Transformation practice, responsible for various areas, including practice development, leadership, client management, go-to-market strategy, client relationships, sales, delivery, and solutions development. As a former Senior Manager at IBM's GRC and Security practice, he was crucial in supporting the core ERP consulting practice. His responsibilities also included building the core GRC and Security practice, driving business development, sales, and delivery across various industry verticals. Similarly, during his tenure as a Manager at Deloitte & Touché (now Deloitte) Enterprise Risk Services, he delivered security and controls transformation engagements for Fortune 50 companies.

He holds various certifications, such as CISA, CRISC, CDPSE, and CMMC RP, and actively participates in the cybersecurity community. He is an adjunct faculty at Columbia University for Masters in Enterprise Risk Management Program, where he teaches Technology Risk Management, Operational Risk Management and Strategic Communications for Risk professionals. He is a member of the Cybersecurity Advisory Board for Harvard Business Review and an Executive member of the Forbes Technology Council. He serves on the Board of Directors for Green Guerilla, a non-profit organization.
