A Series of follow-up presentations from the Open Data Day webinar that will dive deeper into specific topics like open data publication automation, dashboards, and spatial data.

This second presentation in the series will demonstrate how to effectively explore and leverage NYSERDA’s interactive public dashboards. Learn how NYSERDA compliments open data with dashboards that visually display progress towards goals on specific programs and market sectors.  NYSERDA’s dashboards present information in summarized and detailed formats that are interactive, easy to understand, and offer the ability to filter and focus on areas of interest. NYSERDA’s open data and dashboards have also significantly reduced the number of FOIL requests and other inquiries received by NYSERDA.

Rebecca Gagnon, NYSERDA
Becky is the Manager of Data Solutions and oversees the Data Governance team at NYSERDA. In addition to keeping NYSERDA’s sensitive data secure, Becky leads the effort to make NYSERDA’s public data accessible to both internal and external stakeholders through Open Data, data warehouses, and data visualization and mapping strategies. Becky joined NYSERDA in 2009 and has nearly 20 years of experience in the energy industry.
