October IT Procurement Workgroup Meeting

Agenda Items:

  • Global Chip Shortage – A group discussion on the impacts to public sector IT, particularly from the procurement perspective.  Attendees are invited to share their own perspectives, observations, research, etc.  We anticipate having input from both the public sector perspective and also from the private sector firms.
  • Supply Chain Security / US Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA) – A high level overview of what the TAA is and how it affects the buying and selling of products.  Again here we invite public and private sector individuals with knowledge and experience on the subject to contribute to this conversation.
  • NYS OGS Umbrella Contract status – If the proposal due date has passed prior to our meeting, ending the restricted communications period, OGS will provide a brief update.
  • Update and recap of our group’s NYS RFP Terms and Conditions document and review of next steps in delivering this to our intended audience.
  • Open floor for IT Procurement related topics our attendees would like to discuss

As of September 6th, 2021 The NYS Forum has will be following the NYS Guidelines related to COVID-19 screening and social distancing procedures within our offices.  All those who choose to attend Forum sessions in-person are required to have a Covid-19 Vaccination or have had a negative Covid test. The NYS Forum also requests that any individuals attending in-person wear a mask when inside the building.
