Richard Green, Director of Service Delivery at New York State Technology Enterprise Corporation (NYSTEC) Richard Green is NYSTEC’s Director of Service Delivery for Services and Solutions. He has more than 30 years of experience in a variety of industry sectors including information technology consulting, healthcare, and software development in for profit, non-profit and government settings. He has 20 years’ experience providing independent “trusted advisor” consulting services to New York government entities and extensive experience in New York State government procurement processes. He has provided expertise for dozens of procurement initiatives. Previous sessions:Session 1 – COMPLETED - February 9, 2022, 3:30PM to 5:00PM – IT Procurement 101 Basics – Overview of the laws and regulations governing NYS public sector procurements, and processes / procedures surrounding the NYS procurement process Subsequent sessions:Session 3 – Targeted for April - Developing a Procurement / RFP- Key components of RFP development, outreach, vendor involvement, methodology. Review of RFC’s, RFI’s, clarification of why it is essential to have strong project management of the RFP and evaluation process – ITS target speaker As of February 16th, 2022 The NYS Forum will adhere to the following guidelines related to COVID-19 screening and social distancing procedures within our offices.
