As of September 6th, 2021 The NYS Forum has will be following the NYS Guidelines related to COVID-19 screening and social distancing procedures within our offices. Click here to register In-PersonClick here to register for Webex The Information Security Workgroup - Hot Topic Please join Claudia Fisher of the NYS Office for Information Technology Services for a discussion on Women working in the Information Technology disciplines, including Cybersecurity. This presentation will explore why there is gender gap in cybersecurity and steps women can take when facing challenges working in the field. Claudia will also cover how a more diverse workforce will make a cybersecurity program more successful and actions people and organizations can take to promote such a workforce. Speaker Claudia works in the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) at the New York State Office for Information Technology Services. Ms. Fisher has over 20 years of experience working in Information Technology with a background in software architecture and Identity Management. She joined the CISO almost five years ago and specializes in risk management and secure architecture. Ms. Fisher holds several certifications, including the ISC2 CISSP. She is currently enrolled in SUNY Polytechnic's MBA program.
